We Know and Love Kiawah!! - Shawn and I moved to Kiawah in 1987. In 1992, we began building our Kiawah Island home and, that same year, we started our family. Our first son, Benjamin, was actually born at the Kiawah Island Fire Station.

We love the island and are very passionate about discussing it with others. And, like you, we are Kiawah property owners. We have five villas that we own and manage. Knowing, owning and loving Kiawah really helps when encountering so many guests each year that have never been to Kiawah and have a lot of questions about the island. We answer all of our guest's questions without putting them on hold or transferring them to another extension.

Kiawah Island Getaways is a Boutique Management Company - We pay special attention to the needs of each of our properties. We hire and personally train each person who cleans our villas and inspect each property after each guest leaves and again before the next guests arrive (after the property has been cleaned). We make sure every light bulb works and every A/C filter is clean. Our guests also enjoy the special attention - from the personalized welcome sign on the front door, to the special Kiawah "slideshow" playing on the TV upon arrival, to the Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels and top-of-the-line mattresses. Leave all the details to us, both large and small.

We don't add just any property to our boutique collection. There are three qualifications for every Kiawah Island Getaways rental. First, the property must be unique in character - through its decor, through its views, or both. We want our guests to be delighted when they spend their vacation in the property. Second, each property must be located oceanfront, or within a comfortable walk of Kiawah's beach. And lastly, we enjoy working with owners who make it a priority for their investment to be well maintained, well decorated, and properly managed. Our owners want us to do what is necessary to make their property shine.

Personal Service - When you call us for help, we personally answer the phone. You won't have to go through a receptionist or track us down through a maze of extensions. If we are on the phone with a guest, you will get our voice mail and we will call you back immediately after we get your message. This is also the case for our guests - we personally answer the phone and because we know all of our properties thoroughly, we can give detailed information to our guests. We carry our Blackberry with us wherever we go so we are always available to answer the phone and respond to emails

We don't manage hundreds of villas - We are a boutique rental agency offering only a few of Kiawah's finest villas. Our rental properties are all carefully selected, nicely appointed and extremely comfortable. Shawn and/or Jeanette personally inspect each property between guests.

Energy and a Positive Attitude - We give this business 110% of our attention. It is a pleasure to work with our clients and our guests - we truly love our job and enjoy being the caretakers of these extraordinary properties.

Clean and Well-Presented Vacation Rentals - Shawn and Jeanette personally work with each individual on our cleaning team to make sure they are properly trained. When our cleaning crew completes the job, your property is not only clean it is also staged for the guest's arrival. The guests arrive to find a personalized welcome sign on the front door, accent lighting turned on, and soft music playing in the background. Attention to detail is very important to us.
